\"Poem<\/a>Last night at the Save the 1 Banquet<\/a>, Terri presented this poem she wrote for Teresita Herrera, Baby Miracle<\/a>‘s mother:<\/p>\n

I only met you through your mother, about nine months ago<\/p>\n

She is a voice who cries out for those we may never know<\/p>\n

Your mom excitedly shared the news of the gift that grew<\/p>\n

inside and even though you weren\u2019t \u201cperfect,\u201d she always beamed with pride<\/p>\n

The ultrasound showed that your head wasn\u2019t very firm<\/p>\n

and because of that, her pregnancy wouldn\u2019t be \u201cfull term\u201d<\/p>\n

And as she carried you in her womb and another in her arms<\/p>\n

She continued to serve the Lord with elegance and charm<\/p>\n

God is the one who plans each life and numbers all our days<\/p>\n

and as your birth was drawing close, your mom would always pray<\/p>\n

\u201cLord, I want to hold my \u2018Miracle,\u2019 and whisper in her ears,<\/p>\n

and kiss her tiny toes and wipe away her tears!\u201d<\/p>\n

So on December 7th, God sent you on your way,<\/p>\n

into your loving family\u2019s home, where three weeks you would stay<\/p>\n

Your mom was blessed to hold you close and care for every need<\/p>\n

but then she saw you suffering and changed her heartfelt plea<\/p>\n

\u201cLord, I thank You for my \u2018Miracle\u2019 and the days you gave to her<\/p>\n

but now will you please take her home for the pain\u2019s too much to endure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although your life was was very short your testimony lives on<\/p>\n

and many will hear your story and give glory to God\u2019s Son!<\/p>\n
