Sam's Club / Wal-Mart ignores customers as morals and profits decline

After being Costco members for many years, we decided last year to become Sam's Club members. Even though we received cash back on our Costco purchases, we have often found ourselves preferring to shop at Sam's Club, and have purchased many items both for our organization and for our family.

Of course, we had shopped at Wal-Mart for many years before becoming Sam's Club members. Even during this past year as Sam's Club members, we probably spend more money at Wal-Mart than at Sam's Club.

We recently received our Sam's Club renewal notice. About the same time, we received a press release dated August 21, 2006, from the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce announcing a new partnership with Wal-Mart Stores, which includes the provision that Dee Breazeale, vice president of divisional merchandise for Sam's Club Jewelry, will serve on the NGLCC Corporate Advisory Council (CAC). We also learned that Wal-Mart has caved in to the pro-abortion lobby by agreeing to sell human pesticides (the so-called "Morning After Pill", which destroys tiny human lives).

As parents of 11 children and leaders of a Christian ministry, we cannot in good conscience continue to do business with a company which has chosen to promote the homosexual agenda which has become such a great threat to our nation (please review the enclosed information about some of the negative health issues related to homosexuality). We hope that Wal-Mart and Sam's Club will reconsider this decision, and that you will return to your roots as a great American institution. I'm sure you know that Sam Walton would never have supported this homosexual, pro-abortion agenda. If you choose to continue turning away from your great heritage, we will be among the many customers who will stop shopping at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, and we will encourage others to join us in a boycott.

If the information we have received is in any way erroneous, we would appreciate the correction.

Of course, we understand that corporate decisions by Sam's Club and/or Wal-Mart are beyond your control, but we thought you should be aware of this because our efforts to inform people about this will be most intense here in Bakersfield.

The following information on the medical consequences of the homosexual lifestyle is available from various medical publications:

(Houston Chronicle, Nov. 8, 2005) -- Men engaging in homosexual activities accounted for 64 percent of the syphilis infections in 2004, compared with about 5 percent in 1999...increases in venereal disease are generally assumed to be precursors of increases in the transmission of the AIDS virus, which is much more difficult to combat..."We have very good and sound information showing increases in high-risk behaviors among men having sex with men since 1999," fueling the increase in syphilis, Valdiserri said. More disturbing, the rate of antibiotic resistance among men engaging in homosexual activity was 23.8 percent, eight times the rate in heterosexuals.

Increasing cases of P&S syphilis among MSM [Men Who Have Sex with Men] are believed to be largely responsible for the overall increases in the national syphilis rate observed since 2000. Until very recently, CDC has not collected data by risk group. However, the male-to-female ratio for P&S syphilis has risen steadily between 2000 and 2004 (from 1.5 to 5.9), suggesting increased syphilis transmission among MSM. This increase occurred among all racial and ethnic groups. Additionally, CDC estimates that MSM comprised 64 percent of P&S syphilis cases in 2004, up from 5 percent in 1999.

Medical problems which arise from homosexual activities:

parasites passed through oral-anal intercourse, hundreds of sex partners in a lifetime, almost universal HPV infections among homosexuals, anal cancer, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, liver cancer, gonorrhea of the rectum, throat gonorrhea, syphillis, gay bowel disease, proctitis, proctocolitis, herpes, enteritis, HIV/AIDS, bacterial vaginosis and Hepatitis C among lesbians, alcohol abuse, domestic violence among gay men, abuse of lesbians by lovers/partners, long-term depression or suicide, significantly reduced life expectancy, and breast and ovarian cancer among lesbians.

In an article entitled "Major Alert for California's Parents," by Devvy Kidd, April 8, 2006, NewsWithView.com, the following statements appear.

Besides the fact that the life span of a homosexual male is about 38 years of age, the diseases spread by their perverted sexual preferences is massive. According to Dr. Ben Joseph, a retired internal medicine physician in California, the discussion regarding homosexuals and lesbians should be centered on the issue of public health, not civil rights or discrimination:

TVC's report, " Homosexual Behavior Fuels AIDS and STD Epidemic," has been updated to reflect new statistics just published by the CDC.

"The CDC statistics show an overall increase of 5.1% in AIDS infections in the U.S. between 1999-2002. Homosexual and bisexual infection rates have increased 17%. Blacks account for 55% of these new infections; Latinos accounted for a 25% increase. There was a 7% increase among non-homosexuals."

Gay Bowel Syndrome is a collection of bowel diseases which lead to dysfunction of the lower bowel tract and is prevalent throughout the "gay" community. GBS requires one wear a colostomy bag. Shigellosis is an acute bacteria infection like salmonellosis, it can lead to a diarrhea-induced dehydration death in infants and the elderly. Infected individuals [HIV] should never handle food, yet how many "gays" work in restaurants and handle food?

Hepatitus A and B - a viral liver disease spread by fecal contamination (A), or by blood (B).
